0mninet Free Internet: Too Good to Be True?

Updated: Nov 7

Spoiler: No. But we get why you might think that.

Every time we explain what we’re building, the reaction is identical:

“Wait… you’re giving free internet? Free calls? Free SMS? Really? So where’s the catch?”

Fair question. You’d probably ask the same thing.

Because when we say free internet, for everyone, it sounds impossible

especially in 2025, when telecom operators still charge you €0.29 for an MMS you never meant to send.

But this isn’t a scam. It’s not a VPN in disguise or an app filled with irrelevant ads.

It’s something new, a network built on fairness, not fees.

And new things are easy to misunderstand.

The Short Version

• 0mninet is building the first free mobile network powered by ethical data monetization.

• Your anonymous data, shared with consent, unlocks your free internet plan.

• Optional surveys let you earn extra GB if you want a boost.

• Privacy-first, ISO/IEC 27001 certified, GDPR compliant.• MVP launch in Italy, Q2 2026 — aiming to reach 100,000 users in record time.

What “free” really means

It means no credit cards, no subscriptions, no hidden fees, no “free trials” that quietly drain your balance.

With 0mninet, internet access isn’t earned through tasks, it’s unlocked by value exchange.

When you share anonymous, consent-based data, you’re contributing to aggregated insights that have real economic value.

That value funds your connection: mobile data, calls, and SMS, all included.

If you want more, you can. Completing optional surveys or sharing additional preferences gives you instant data boosts.

But the base plan is always free, powered by your data, not your wallet.

No tricks. No exploitation. Just a fair system where your information stays private, and your connection stays open.

How 0mninet makes money

The 0mninet model runs on ethical data monetization, not ads.

We collect and process aggregated, anonymized data, like mobility patterns, usage trends, or topic interests with full consent and transparency.

This data is never sold individually. It’s analyzed to produce insights for research and innovation, much like existing data exchanges used by global telecom operators.

That’s how the system sustains itself: your data creates measurable value, which we return to you in the form of free connectivity.

Surveys come next, an optional add-on for those who want to go further.

Research companies pay to collect feedback through 0mninet’s survey marketplace.

When you participate, you earn GB as a reward, instantly added to your balance.

And then there’s the referral model, invite friends, grow the network, and both receive extra GB.

A community that scales itself.

Everything is GDPR-compliant, ISO/IEC 27001 certified, and aligned with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

We follow the same standards used by global telecoms, but with one radical difference: we share the value with you.

How you’ll actually use 0mninet in real life

You open the app. You choose which data categories to share mobility, interests, usage patterns.

That alone unlocks your free internet plan, including calls and SMS.

If you want more, you can complete optional surveys or share additional insights for extra GB, what we call survey boosts.

No subscriptions, no hidden steps.

Just a fair exchange where your anonymous data becomes real, usable connectivity.

We’re Samuele and Tommaso from Florence, building 0mninet

the first mobile operator that offers unlimited internet, calls, and SMS for free, while fully respecting your privacy.

Why now?

For the first time, free internet isn’t science fiction, it’s economics.

Mobile data costs have dropped by over 80% in the past decade.

AI now makes it possible to process billions of survey responses and behavioral insights securely and anonymously.

And global privacy laws (GDPR) have finally made consent-based monetization transparent and legal.

All these trends converge now.

That’s why the next telecom revolution won’t come from a legacy carrier

it will come from a user-first model built on fairness, not fees.

Does it actually work?

It will.

MVP launch planned in Italy, Q2 2026.

The goal: build the first 100,000-user community in record time, proving that free, ethical connectivity can scale.

We’re already working with MVNO and infrastructure partners active across Europe.

We can’t share names yet but one thing’s clear: we’re not improvising.

Our aim is to build a network that’s solid, scalable, and fully regulated from day one.

And we know trust doesn’t come from slogans, but from facts.

That’s why:

– The UX will be ultra-transparent (each activity → visible GB earned).

– Proofs will be real (screenshots, testimonials, live data).

– Partnerships will be public only when they’re official.

Still sounds too good to be true?

We get it. We live in a world where “free” usually means you’re the product.

0mninet exists to flip that logic.

The value you create online is real, it’s just never been shared with you.

We’re here to give it back, not as points or coupons, but as what truly matters: connection.

What comes next

In the coming months, 0mninet will share progress on infrastructure, licensing, and beta testing in India.

You’ll be able to follow every milestone, from the first user connection to the first GB earned through data monetization.

Because for us, transparency isn’t a feature.

It’s our foundation.

So... where’s the catch?

The catch is that we haven’t launched yet.

And that changing a 30-year-old industry will take time, courage, and a small revolution.

But if you want to be part of it

if you want to help build the first mobile network that doesn’t exploit your data,

if you believe “free” can finally mean “fair”

0mninet is here.

And we’re just getting started.
